CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge #101

Christmas is getting closer and for any crafter that makes holiday presents I'm sure you're all starting to feel the crunch as am I! Well, if you are working on Christmas cards, perhaps this sketch can help you out...

I went on another scrounge fest for my card and found some leftover rhinestone stickers (swirl and dots), a silver pen and the sentiments that were lying on my desk. The shiny silver paper is actually cardboard like paper that comes in the boxes of labels we have at the pharmacy where I work, so extra bonus on being free! A few snips and a few sketch lines here and there and you've got a simple ornament :)

We would love to have you come play along with us this week! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

I did some tone on tone stamping for my card and a blingy accent for my sentiment. I love the colour red paired with bling.

CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge #99

Welcome back to another week at CAS(E) this Sketch! I hope everyone had a fun Hallowe'en! Check out the sketch we have for you this week...

You will probably see Christmas/Winter cards from me form here on out until the holidays are over. It  helps out with the stash I make in the long run :) I went very simple for this card. I used 2 strips of wash tape for the border and then stuck strips of wash tape to some white cardstock and die cut a snowflake and added some rhinestones to it. A quick stamp of a sentiment in black and a little snip with the corner rounder and you are done!

Welcome back to another week of CAS(E) this Sketch! Check out the fun sketch to try out this week, so many possibilities!

With Hallowe'en just around the corner I couldn't resist making a card for the occasion. I dug out my fave Hallowe'en colour combo; purple, orange and green and a Stampin' Up! set that I never got a chance to play with yet. Here is what I came up with...

The team would love to have you play along with us, so stop on over and load up a card or two!
Thanks for stopping by and have a safe and Happy Hallowe'en!

I dug out one of my favourite leaf sets from Stampin' Up! for this card, did some simple 2 step stamping and then sponged in some colour to make an edge.

CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge #94

Welcome back to another week at CAS(E) this Sketch! Check out the great sketch to try out this week, lots of ways to use this design for those upcoming holiday cards.

Designing cards weekly comes in handy when a holiday is approaching as it gives me the chance to make a few for that special occasion. Thanksgiving here is a mere 3 weeks away, so my cards for the next couple of weeks are join to be on the thankful side :) I grabbed anything that was remotely handy to make this card. My markers were out and a old CD case was nearby, so I coloured some stripes on the case and then stamped them on my card front. I used my trusty hand held label maker for my sentiment and added a little bling with some rhinestones.

We would love to have you stop by this week and play along!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great crafty week!
